Sain Kamal Khan Sherani (Pashto:سايي کمال خان شیراني)(January 3, 1924—November 5, 2010) was the founding member and leader of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party a democratic Pashtun nationalist political party in Pakistan. Sain Kamal Khan Sherani was born in district Zhob British India village shina ponga (شنه پونګه) in middle class Sherani tribe family. His father name was Esa Khan and he has business in Dehli. Sain has three brother named Mutha Khan, Ibrahim Khan, Nawab Khan and has two sisters. After completing his Matriculation, in 1940 he proceeded to Islamia College University Peshawar for higher education and stayed there for five years. This stood his Alma Mater. He took the Honours degree in Economics In Islamia CollegePeshawar.In 1945 Kamal Khan qualified B.Sc (hon) from Islamia College Peshawar. In B.Sc (Hon) his main subject was Economics, wherein he attempted a question. "Why India is poor". He instead of stereotype text book answers, like overpopulation, low growth rate etc. in diametric contrast, he pointed out that private land ownership is the root cause, and the rest all others are ancillary.
